In my Self-Assessment and Leadership Reflection, I took a deep dive into my leadership journey and how it’s shaped who I am today. Through the Kuder Career Interests and Skills Confidence Assessments, I confirmed what I already knew: I'm wired for leadership, strategy, and building strong systems. My experiences as a Boy Scout, sales manager, and mentor all reflect the Enterprising, Conventional, and Realistic traits that define my strengths. Influences like Jim Rohn, Zig Ziglar, and my father have helped me focus on responsibility, integrity, and helping others succeed. Emotional intelligence stood out as the most important skill, especially when it comes to self-awareness and navigating relationships as a leader.
Self-Reflection:
Looking back on everything I’ve learned in this reflection, I feel a deep sense of alignment between who I am, what I value, and the work I do. These assessments didn’t just confirm my strengths, they reminded me why I chose this path. Leadership isn’t about titles for me it’s about making a difference in people’s lives and leading with character. As I approach the next stage of my career, I feel more confident than ever that I’m doing what I was meant to do.
